  • Q - During brewing, why do both the Single and Double Brew indicators pulse in red, with no coffee flowing or only drops coming out?
A - The coffee grind is too fine. Use a coarser grind size.
  • A - There is too much coffee in the filter. Use the correct amount of ground coffee.
  • A - The coffee has been tamped too firmly. Tamp with light to moderate pressure.
  • Q - Why does water leak from the bottom of my espresso machine?
  • A - The drip tray is full. Remove and clean the drip tray.
  • A - The machine may be malfunctioning. Please contact an authorized service center for repair.
  • Q - Why do all light indicators flash in red?
  • A - The water tank is empty or the water level is below the MIN mark. Fill the water tank until the warning indicators turn off.
  • Q - Why does my coffee taste acidic?
  • A - The descaling procedure was not performed correctly. Refer to “Before First Use” in the manual and perform descaling again.
  • A - The ground coffee was stored in a hot or humid place for too long. Use freshly ground espresso, or store unused ground coffee in a cool, dry place. Reseal an opened pack tightly and refrigerate to maintain freshness.
  • Q - Why does the grinder dispense too little coffee or none at all at the finest setting?
  • A - The grind setting is too fine. Adjust to a slightly coarser grind.
  • Q - Why does the grinder indicator flash in red?
  • A - The grinder may have overheated. Allow it to rest until the indicator turns off.
  • A - The grinder is not properly attached. Ensure it is locked securely into place.
  • Q - Why does the coffee machine not function?
  • A - The power cord may not be plugged in properly. Ensure it is securely connected to a wall outlet.
  • A - If the unit still does not function, contact an authorized service center for repair.
  • Q - Why won’t the steam function work or why can’t I froth milk?
  • A - The steam-ready indicator is not illuminated. Wait for the light to turn on before steaming.
  • A - The vessel is too large or wide. Use a properly sized milk-frothing cup.
  • A - Skimmed milk was used. For best results, use whole milk or 2% milk.
  • Q - What is the size of the filter holder/portafilter?
  • A - The portafilter size is 58mm.
  • Q - How do I remove or detach the grinder from the espresso machine?
  • 1. Remove the grinder cradle from the bracket support by pulling it upward.
  • 2. Press the red release button under the Power button while turning the grind size dial to the right until you hear a click.
  • 3. Pull the grinder downward to detach. The grinder indicator will turn red when removed.
  • To attach the grinder -
  • 1. Align the line on the grinder with the indicator on the espresso machine (*).
  • 2. Push the grinder upward while turning the Grind Size dial all the way to the left until it locks into place.
  • 3. The grinder indicator will illuminate white when correctly attached. If flashing red, realign and lock again.
  • Q - Why does the grinder get jammed or stop working properly?
  • A - Grinder misalignment or jamming can happen if the grinder is not cleaned regularly. Coffee residue like bean shells may accumulate and interfere with the burrs.
  • A - Setting the grind size too fine may also cause jamming as the burrs struggle to push coffee through.
  • Recommendation - Clean the grinder frequently, especially on fine grind levels (1–6). The ideal grind setting for regular use is 7–10.
  • Steps to clean the grinder -
  • 1. Remove the grinder from the espresso machine.
  • 2. Unlock and remove the bottom cover (look for the lock/unlock symbol).
  • 3. Use a cleaning brush or wooden stick to remove coffee residue and hardened grounds.
  • 4. Ensure the burrs spin smoothly once clean.
  • 5. Wipe around the edges with a soft, clean cloth to remove remaining residue.
